To celebrate the Coronation of HRH King Charles III, we are delighted to launch our exclusive new 'Crowning Glory' adjustable derby walking stick.
Perfect for the Coronation and other patriotic British events, the pattern was designed in house by Classic Canes managing director Charlotte Gillan. It features St Edwards's Crown, which will be used for the Coronation of HRH King Charles III, as well as red, white and blue hearts and flowers, with one heart featuring the Union Flag, on a black background. It is very modern and upbeat and will also be suitable for other royal occasions, the Last Night of the Proms, The Eurovision Song Contest (to be held in the UK in mid-May 2023) at national sporting events and for everyday use.
The cane is fitted with an elegant black wood derby handle, gold-coloured metal collar and features the repeating pattern on the upper section of the aluminium adjustable cane. The lower section is plain black. It is adjustable in height from 76cm to 101cm so is easily altered to fit the user, which makes it an excellent gift idea too.
Designer Charlotte Gillan enthuses, "The Coronation is going to be a very special event. Most of the population has never seen one and we expect a huge amount of enthusiasm from the British public as well as abroad for this symbolic day. There will be many events surrounding the Coronation where people will dress up in a patriotic spirit, whether to watch the parades in London or to enjoy a local street party. For stick users, it is a wonderful chance to demonstrate their support for our new King with a red, white and blue
fashionable walking stick. We seem to have a great many national occasions now so it will also be perfect for other events in the future. It was great fun to design and I am really delighted that there has been so much interest in our Crowning Glory cane."
The Crowning Glory cane (ref. 1066) is available for Classic Canes stockists to order now. Members of the public who would like to order one should contact a Classic Canes stockist and ask them to order one for them now. There will be only one production run before the Coronation so they are available while stocks last.
