Trade Fairs

At present, Classic Canes is not exhibiting at trade fairs.  This is due to the greatly reduced number of trade buyers at these events, which means that sadly it is no longer cost-effective to exhibit at them.

 

Even before the Covid epidemic, trade fairs such as the Spring Fair, GLEE, NAIDEX and the Autumn Fair were failing to attract enough visitors.  This is partly due to the ease for retailers of sourcing new products on the internet and partly due to the not-inconsiderable expense of travelling to and attending trade shows.  It is a great pity because face-to-face remains one of the best ways to do business, especially for such tactile products as walking sticks.  However, we now receive the vast majority of our new trade enquiries via the internet, our advertisements in trade magazines and by word-of-mouth.
