Change of ownership for Classic Canes

We have a big announcement to make today: Classic Canes will soon be under new ownership. We have accepted an offer for the company from an overseas supplier and Classic Canes will pass to them on 1st June 2025. It was a big decision for us to make but it has come at the right time for the company and our family.
In the meantime, we have our UK-based stock to sell off and a big Clearance Sale has now commenced for the benefit of our trade customers. Interested retailers are invited to contact us via our Contact Us page for further information. The discounts are very attractive and we expect stock levels to change rapidly, so please be aware you can check whether an item is still available on our website.
My parents and I would like to thank all our customers, suppliers, the trade press and other friends for all their support in the 42 years we have owned and run Classic Canes. It has been an honour to work with you all.

Christmas holiday

Classic Canes will be closed for the Christmas and New Year holiday from midday on Friday 20th December 2024 and will reopen on Thursday 2nd January 2025. Many thanks to our customers for all their business during 2024, to our suppliers for their support and assistance, to the trade media for their enthusiasm for our company and its products and to all our friends, family, dogs and cats for being there to cheer us along. A very happy Christmas to you all.

£1,200 raised for Lyme Disease UK

We are delighted to announce that the recent charity clay pigeon shoot organised by our neighbours AH Warren Trust and Coombe Farm Sporting raised a magnificent £1,200 for our nominated charity, Lyme Disease UK. It is so important that people know how to protect themselves from tick bites and what the early signs of Lyme Disease are so they can seek prompt treatment. Please take a moment to educate yourself about Lyme Disease and tell your friends and family too.

Wake up to Lyme: Lyme Disease awareness month

This month, Classic Canes is supporting Lyme Disease UK's Wake Up To Lyme campaign. Lyme Disease is a tick-borne bacterial disease that can result in very debilitating symptoms. If caught early, it can be easy to treat but many people do not know what to look out for, so greater awareness is needed.
Our founder, Diana Porter, has suffered from this disease for some time and is keen to help others avoid the same health problems she has experienced. Ticks are common in woodlands and moorlands but also parks and gardens so everyone needs to know about this increasingly common disease.
We are delighted to have teamed up with our neighbours at AH Warren Trust who have selected Lyme Disease UK as their nominated charity for their Coombe Farm Sporting Charity Clay Pigeon Shoot on 11th May 2024. The Charity Clay Pigeon Shoot is an important local event and we are very grateful to the Trust for joining us in supporting Lyme Disease UK.
