Ash Shepherd's Crook OUT OF STOCK Request Info A traditional country stick, originally used by shepherds to catch members of their flock of sheep.  Today their striking shape makes them a popular present; the ideal accessory for a smart country ensemble. Ash wood is an attractive silvery-green colour as well as being very strong; it has been used to make walking sticks for centuries. It is fitted with a 'Combi-spike' ferrule: a rubber ferrule fitted over a metal one so that the stick may be used on both hard and soft ground.   Height 135cm (53").   Item weight is 440g. CAUTION: shepherd's crooks must not be left or stored in damp conditions because the damp will make the steamed crook spring open.
